Last week I wrote abouthundreds of people dying of malnutritionin the UK over this past twelve months alone, as aconsequenceof government policies. I wrote about how ouruniversities are no longer permitting free speech and critical thinking, and how dissenting academics have taken to blogging, using pseudonyms and writing anonymous letters because of the repressive political developments in the UK.  I am now about to write another piece on how our Human Rights Actis to be scrapped and replaced by aConservative Bill of Frights.

The Labour party needs to be collectively opposing the government and addressing these pressing, socially calamitous issues, raising public awareness regarding the profound damage that this authoritarian government are inflicting on our society and drafting remedial policy outlines which extend social justice and equality.
